What size hot water tank do I need?
It depends on people, bathrooms and habits: a couple usually lives well with 150–200 litres, a family with baths closer to 250–300. We size from your actual routine and put the reasoning in writing.
Can a heat pump make water hot enough?
Yes. Daily comfort at 48–55°C runs efficiently, and automatic higher-temperature anti-legionella cycles are handled by the system on schedule.
How is legionella prevented?
The tank runs scheduled high-temperature disinfection cycles; we configure and document them at commissioning, so protection doesn't depend on anyone remembering.
Should I keep my electric boiler as backup?
Usually it isn't needed, but hybrid arrangements are possible — we'll tell you honestly whether it earns its space before you decide.
How long does the tank installation take?
Typically one day for a tank replacement or for integration alongside a heat pump installation — stated in the written programme.
