What does surge protection cost?
From €240 for a Type 2 SPD installed in your panel. If earth measurements demand electrode work, it's quoted separately with the target resistance stated — and verified after installation.
Do I need surge protection if storms are rare?
Surges arrive more often from the grid itself — switching events, faults streets away — than from lightning. Electronics age from every hit; the SPD absorbs them all silently.
What is earthing actually for?
It gives fault current a fast, low-resistance path so protection trips instantly and exposed metal never bites. Without a healthy earth, differentials protect on paper only.
How do you know if my earth is good?
We measure it — earth resistance has a number, and Valencia's dry soils often surprise people. Below target passes; above it, we improve the electrode and re-measure.
Will it protect my solar inverter and heat pump?
