What does solar EV charging cost?
From €690 for a surplus-aware wallbox installed alongside existing solar. If panels and charger arrive together, we quote one combined scheme — itemised in writing.
How does solar-only charging work?
A meter watches your export point; the wallbox adjusts its current so the car absorbs exactly the surplus — more sun, faster charge. The house always takes priority.
What happens on cloudy days?
The box falls back to your cheap-hour schedule — or charges at full speed when you tell it you're in a hurry. Modes switch per session with one tap.
Is surplus really enough to charge a car?
For typical Valencia commutes, often yes: a 5 kW system's surplus adds meaningful daily kilometres. The math for your production and driving goes in the quotation.
Will it work with my existing wallbox?
Some models accept a solar meter retrofit; basic units don't. Send the model — we'll tell you honestly whether to upgrade the settings or the box.
