What is thermal banking exactly?
Heating the hot-water tank a few degrees beyond normal while the sun pays, so the evening draws from stored heat instead of the grid — a battery made of water you already own.
Will it cool the house on solar too?
Yes — summer logic pre-cools rooms during peak production, so the evening AC load shrinks. Valencia's sun conveniently peaks exactly when cooling is wanted.
Does this replace a battery?
