How much does plastering cost?
From €14/m² for re-skimming sound walls; damaged or hollow substrates are diagnosed and quoted honestly after assessment. Flatness is delivered as a measurable number.
Can old, uneven walls really be made flat?
Almost always — the question is method: re-skim, render and skim, or re-board. The straightedge and a few taps tell us which; you get the honest answer before any quote.
What about damp walls?
Plastering over damp is burying a problem. We find the moisture source first — leak, rising damp or condensation — and fix causes before surfaces. It's slower and correct.
Do you use breathable lime plasters?
On old solid walls, yes — they let moisture migrate instead of trapping it. Modern gypsum where it suits; the wall's physics chooses, not fashion.
How soon can walls be painted?
Fresh plaster needs its drying time — typically days per coat depending on season, stated in your programme. Rushing it is how new paint fails.
