Home/Plumbing/Plumbing Maintenance
Plumbing · Maintenance
Plumbing maintenance in Valencia — the annual visit that keeps floors dry.
Every plumbing emergency was once a cheap fix nobody looked at. The annual visit from €120: valves, hoses, pressures and the heater's anode — checked, corrected, written down.
In plain terms
Water damage is rarely sudden. It's unattended.
The hose that burst was bulging for months; the stopcock that wouldn't close hadn't turned in years. One annual visit exercises every valve, dates every hose, measures pressure and checks the heater's sacrificial anode — the whole quiet checklist that cancels loud Sundays.

Inspection
Every wet point, valve and hose reviewed.
Small fixes
Seals, washers and adjustments done on the spot.

Why VELTORRA
The checklist that keeps floors dry.
Valves exercised
Every shut-off turned, freed or flagged — they close when needed.
Hoses dated
Flexis inspected and aged out before they decide.
Pressure measured
Static and flow — creeping problems caught as numbers.
Heater serviced
Anode checked, valve tested, settings verified.
Report kept
Findings and fixes logged — year against year.
The honest comparison
Planned care against run-to-failure.
Both approaches cost money. Only one of them also costs ceilings, weekends and the neighbour's goodwill.
Planned maintenance
- Hoses retired on schedule, dry floors
- Valves that close the day they must
- Heater anode swapped — tank lives on
- A yearly report insurers respect
Run-to-failure
- The hose decides the date — usually Sunday
- The stopcock spins as water spreads
- The tank rusts quietly from inside
- Every claim starts from zero evidence

Questions, answered
Asked before hiring us.
What does the maintenance visit include?
Twenty-plus points: every shut-off exercised, appliance hoses inspected and dated, pressures measured, traps and visible joints checked, the water heater's valve and anode reviewed — plus small fixes done on the spot, all in a written report.
Is it really worth €120 a year?
One aged washing-machine hose costs a few euros to replace and thousands to ignore. Most emergencies we attend were visible a year earlier — that's the honest economics.
Do you maintain rental properties?
Yes — landlords are half our maintenance clients: scheduled visits, reports you can file, and a plumber tenants can call who already knows the flat.
Can maintenance include the water heater service?
It includes the checks; if the anode needs replacing we quote it on the spot — usually a modest part that doubles the tank's remaining life.
When is the best time to book?
Autumn, before heating season stresses the system — but any quiet month works. What matters is the rhythm: once a year, documented.
