What does a structural survey cost?

Is my crack serious?
Most aren't — plaster and thermal movement account for the majority. But direction, width and growth distinguish the exceptions, and that's precisely what measurement answers. Send a photo; we'll tell you if it warrants a visit.
Should I survey before buying a house?
