Home/Aerothermal/Hybrid Boiler + Heat Pump
Aerothermal · Hybrid systems
Hybrid boiler and heat pump systems in Valencia — two sources, one intelligent logic.
Keep your boiler, add a heat pump, and let the controls choose the cheapest source hour by hour. From €4,990, installed alongside your existing system without a day of downtime.
In plain terms
The pragmatic first step off gas.
A hybrid pairs your existing boiler with a heat pump under one control logic. The pump carries the mild majority of the season at high efficiency; the boiler wakes only for extremes. No rip-out, no risk, no cold day in between.

Why VELTORRA
Why hybrids earn their keep.
Zero-risk transition
Your boiler remains connected as automatic backup.
Smart switching
Controls pick the cheaper source by tariff and outdoor temperature.
High-temp compatible
Works with existing radiators exactly as they are.
Sized for reality
The pump covers the base load it is best at — nothing oversized.
A clear exit ramp
When the boiler retires, the system is ready to go all-electric.
The honest comparison
Hybrid against boiler-only, honestly.
The question is not whether a boiler can heat your home — it is what every kilowatt-hour costs you on the way.
Hybrid system
- Heat pump covers ~80% of the season at COP 3–4
- Boiler runs only for extremes and peaks
- A stepwise, reversible path off gas
- Cooling available from the same added unit
Boiler alone
- Every kilowatt-hour burned at boiler efficiency
- The boiler wears through the whole season
- Locked into gas prices, whatever they do
- No cooling — a separate system in summer

Questions, answered
Asked before hiring us.
How does the system decide which source runs?
The controls compare outdoor temperature, tariff and demand: the heat pump takes everything it does efficiently, and the boiler joins only for extremes. The rules are tuned at commissioning and documented.
Will it work with my old radiators?
Yes — that is the point of a hybrid: the boiler covers the coldest hours when radiators need high temperatures, and the pump carries the rest of the season.
How much does a hybrid actually save?
In Valencia's climate the pump typically carries most of the season. Savings depend on your tariffs and usage — we model your case in the quotation rather than promise a universal number.
Is my boiler compatible?
Most wall-hung and floor gas boilers are. We verify hydraulics and controls at the survey and confirm compatibility in writing before you commit.
Can I remove the boiler later?
Yes. The installation is designed so the boiler can retire without rework — that is your path off gas, at your pace.
